Solace Mental Health Therapy is a premier therapy practice dedicated to individual wellness. Located in Burbank, CA, we provide individual therapy, couples counseling, and life coaching for anxiety, depression, stress, and other mental and emotional challenges.

OUR MISSION
SOLACE Mental Health Therapy of Burbank, CA, provides counseling and psychological services to individuals living in Los Angeles County. We aim to provide psychological services which encourage individual growth and psychological health. We recognize that each person is a unique individual influenced by their culture, family, values and beliefs, and personal identity.
OUR APPROACH
At SOLACE Mental Health Therapy, we begin with a precise understanding of our client's goals. With that understanding, we can establish a treatment plan based on those individualized needs and goals. Our goal is to guide individuals, couples, and families toward better functioning in all areas of their lives. OUR TEAM OF EXPERTS
Ani Melkumian, LCSW
Ani earned her Master’s degree in social work from California State University, Long Beach. She is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with over 10 years of experience working with older adults. Her innate understanding of older adults and the journey of healthy aging helped build strong therapeutic relationships with individuals struggling with depression anxiety and trauma. Ani specializes in end-of-life and bereavement. She works with clients and their families by helping celebrate life and legacy. Ani is fluent in Armenian and English.
Mane Vahanian, MSW, ACSW
Mane earned her Master’s degree in social work from the University of Southern California. Mane has extensive background advocating against domestic violence. Mane works with women and children. Mane is passionate about social justice and human rights. Mane works clients 10-18 years. She is fluent in Armenian and English.
Bryssa Koppie, LCSW
Bryssa comes to us with nearly a decade of experience working as a school social worker in public education, focusing on supporting the mental health needs of kids and adolescents as well as engaging parents in their children’s treatment. She takes pride in being empathetic, authentically supportive and has been named as “a cheerleader” by her clients. She believes in the teaching her clients to identify their emotions, establish assertive yet comfortable communication techniques, understand the importance of setting boundaries and build a strong sense of self worth. When she isn’t working, Bryssa enjoys going to concerts, visiting friends across the U.S. and relaxing with her cat Romeo (who might make an unexpected appearance on screen from time to time).
Selina Galvan, LMFT
Selina is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Her expertise is working with children, adolescents, adults and families. She has experience treating depression, anxiety, trauma and mood disorders, as well as substance abuse. Her focus as a therapist is to empower her clients to feel in control of their lives and have the self-confidence to make positive life changes. She works collaboratively with her clients in creating goals. She strives to help and guide her clients with kindness and compassion
Ani Ifiktchyan, LCSW
Ani is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She received her Masters in Social Work from USC. She specializes in working with older adults and has worked in various hospices, senior living, skilled nursing facilities, ALFs, and PACE programs. Her affinity for older adults stems from their enriching stories and the wisdom they bring. Raised with roots in Armenia and nurtured in American culture, Ani brings a distinctive blend of experiences to her practice.
